The story of IDEAL begins in 2007, in the highlands of Kenya.
With temperate climate and perfect soil conditions, ours is an idyllic, natural environment for nurturing fresh, crisp fruits and vegetables, such as tasty avocados, French beans, mangoes, passion fruits, tree tomatoes, snow peas, and sugar snaps. This is where our company takes root, among smallholdings run by ordinary farmers with shirt sleeves rolled up to carry out heartfelt work. And our farmers do deliver with heartfelt work. From time-honoured methods of farming, they passionately adapt to modern techniques that we teach them. They take pride, not in traditions, but in the delivery of the very best of their produce to our consumers.
